1. We Have a Conversation
You tell me about your business - what you do, where you serve, who your customers are, and what you have tried before. I listen. Most of the agencies you have talked to started with their pitch. I start with your situation, because the right recommendation depends on what is actually going on with your business, your site, and your market.
2. I Look at Your Site and Your Competitors
Before I give you any advice, I pull up your website, check your Google Business Profile, look at your competitors’ Map Pack positions, and get a real picture of your local search landscape. This takes me about 20 minutes and costs you nothing. By the end, I can tell you exactly where you stand, what’s holding you back, and what it would take to improve - in plain English, not jargon.
3. I Give You an Honest Recommendation
Sometimes the answer is “hire me.” Sometimes the answer is, “fix these three things on your own first, then call me in six months.” Occasionally the answer is, “SEO is not the right channel for your business right now; spend your money on Google Ads instead.” I will tell you the truth regardless of which answer costs me the sale, because my reputation over 35 years is worth more than any single monthly fee.

My name is David Cragg. BA in Economics from UCLA, Cum Laude. MBA with honors from the University of Washington in Marketing. I held positions at Microsoft, Exxon, and several other companies before starting my first internet marketing firm in 1990.
Over the next twenty-five years I built and ran two internet marketing companies - MSD2D.com and Lotus411.com - serving thousands of clients, including Microsoft, IBM, HP, Intel, Dell, and The Irvine Company. I sold both companies to the largest publishers in their respective industries. I retired at 50.
Now I help small businesses in Tucson, Oro Valley, Green Valley, Marana, and across Southern Arizona grow through SEO. I charge $1,000 a month - about one-tenth of what my experience level commands at an agency - because my overhead is low, my retirement funded, and I would rather help a dozen small businesses grow than chase one big contract.
